The Israeli Third Way Foundation is a non-political, non-partisan and expert-led initiative designed to help Israel’s future leadership reform and rebuild the nation.
Among its key goals is to formulate the vision, ideas and policy proposals that will help improve the functioning of government, unite society, advance peace, and strengthen the ties between the Jewish state and the Jewish diaspora.
Meet Ari - The Leader Behind the Third Way
Ari Shavit is an Israeli journalist and author.
He is the author of the books Partition (2005), A New Israeli Republic (2021), and Saving Israel (2023).
His book, My Promise Land (2013) was an international best-seller, translated into dozens of languages, and is considered an indispensable analysis of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
As a leading columnist and a prominent television commentator, Shavit is one of the strongest voices in the nation’s public arena. He challenges the dogmas of both Right and Left with unique insights into the role of Israel in the 21st century.
Over the last decade, Ari has worked tirelessly to formulate a new and powerful agenda to reunite Israeli society and the Jewish people — and contribute to the rejuvenation of the Jewish-democratic state. In this role, he has worked with key decision-makers, and took part in founding civic and social movements that changed the face of the Israeli center.
Since 2017, Ari has headed the Israeli Third Way Foundation.
He is married and is the father of three.
